The Institute offers both Master (M.S.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree programs. Approximately 55 masters, 20 doctoral, and a few foreign students are admitted each year. The students are from engineering, science, biology and medicine backgrounds. The academic year begins in September and ends in June of the following year.
The Master Degree Program requires completing 24 credits of courses and seminars and an original thesis. The Principles of Biomedical Engineering course is required for every student. The Anatomical Physiology is required for engineering graduates.
The Doctoral Degree Program requires completing 18 credits of courses and seminars and an original thesis. The course Principles of Biomedical Engineering is required. The doctoral candidate must also pass the qualify examination by the end of five semester.
